What does it look like when we give more than we take - without depleting ourselves?

If you’re leading a purpose-driven organisation, how do you balance contribution, ambition, and sustainability internally? We want to hear what works for you.

We have three days in Oslo.
Not a retreat. Not a workshop.
A working session on how we give more than we take, sustainably.

This week, the Sustainability Collaborative has gathered to:

  • Align individual ambitions with collective goals
  • Define our 2026 strategy to do more of what the world needs
  • Clarify how we support one another to succeed and succeed together
  • Fine-tune how we deliver
  • Strengthen how we practice what we advise others to do

Because here’s the tension:

If you work in sustainability, leadership, and systems change, you cannot afford to build an organisation that burns out the people inside it.

So we’re asking ourselves:

What does it look like when we give more than we take - without depleting ourselves?

For us it means:

  • Caring for what matters most to our customers and business
  • Matching tasks and passion
  • Agreeing upon implementation tactics for how to care for our energy and capacity
  • Setting transparent revenue goals while caring for impact - walking the talk as a certified B Corp.

Strategy is easy to talk about.
Alignment is harder.
Generosity with structure is harder still.

But that’s the work.

If this is a tension you are navigating in your own organisation, let’s talk and explore this together.
