B Corp Month Wrap-up - a movement on the rise

B Corp Month has just wrapped up - and this year felt different here in Sweden.

Set against a backdrop of increasing global uncertainty, conflict, and fragmentation, there was something quietly powerful about the energy that emerged this last month. A reminder that even in turbulent times, there is a growing movement of organisations choosing to step forward with purpose.

The B Corp movement continues to gain momentum in the Nordics as a community committed to using business as a force for good.

We were proud to be part of that energy throughout the past month:

  • Joining the Stockholm B Corp Month launch event with great inspiration from Icebug's sustainability journey.
  • Re-connecting with B Lab Nordics and a growing community of new and prospective B Corps
  • Taking part in the first Run with the B Corps in Sweden - getting fit for the future!
  • Celebrating women driving change across the B Corp movement on International Women’s Day
  • Contributing to a joint letter to CEOs calling for stronger leadership and accountability on business leaders
  • Spreading the B Corp message on social media and in the press via Dagens Industri and Aktuell Hållbarhet
  • Setting in motion our own B Corp re-certification journey
  • Launching collaborations to support the expansion of the B Corp community in the Nordics
  • Sharing how our science-based approach - backcasting from visions framed by sustainability principles - can act as a power booster for B Corps and any organisation aiming to align strategy with a more inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy

What stands out most is the community. A group of organisations choosing to act - to be measured, to improve, and to lead. In a time when trust in institutions is under pressure, this kind of leadership matters more than ever.

At the same time, the conversations are maturing. There is a growing awareness that while voluntary leadership is essential, it must be supported by stronger systems and clearer accountability on all forms of leadership.

For us at Sustainability Collaborative, this is exactly where we want to contribute - helping organisations and business leaders move from ambition to structured, science-based transformation, together.

If you are navigating how your organisation can respond to this moment - and want to explore what meaningful action could look like in practice - we are always open to a conversation.
